With eight years of classroom teaching between years 8 and 12, I know how stressful a time high school can be for so many students. Every child is unique, and has his or her own needs.

For many students, maths feels incredibly overwhelming and causes a lot of anxiety. These students need individualised help to reset and to believe in themselves again. I’ll fill the gaps in your child’s fundamental knowledge, explain current school topics to ensure they don’t fall further behind, and help with revision before tests.

It’s also a common experience for kids to begin to struggle in maths, around this time even though they were always really successful in primary school. It can be a shock to their confidence, especially when unhappy test results begin to occur. This student simply needs some extra support as the material continues to increase in difficulty. I’ll teach better note taking and revision skills as well, so that your child is set up for independent success.
